Bloomsburg University's Department of Exercise Science offers undergraduate and graduate programs accredited by recognized organizations, such as the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, as well as supports requirements for education majors and staffs BU's athletic programs.

The clinical athletic training program, accredited by Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education, is one of only 23 athletic training programs in the U.S. accredited at the master's entry-level.

As a leading university in this field, BU offers graduate study in exercise science and athletic training involving clinical and research internships to encompass the full spectrum of health, including cardiac rehabilitation, physiological assessment and training for optimal performance. Student factors that suggest a high probability of success in:
